Designing For Success
So we’ve crossed the x’s and dotted the i’s, now it’s time to weld everything into a beautiful but sensible design that will help you and your partners meet your goals.
First, we’ll create some sketches for the preliminary design. Then we’ll meet you on site to field measure the building and discuss any potential issues so we can work through them.
There’s also a meeting with the city. We’ve got to discuss timing and submittal requirements for the permit.
Once the design is completed and approved by both you and the city, we would move on to the construction documents. These go to the city for permit and to the general contractors for bidding. During construction we’ll review submittals, visit the site for observation of the progress and, at completion, create a punchlist.
